We are back inside the East Hants Sportsplex for the 2021/2022 winter off season!
What: One hour sessions on the turf inside the balmy East Hants Sportsplex. Loosely structured non-contact rugby, that will ramp up as we get closer to getting back outside.
Who: Anyone! As long as you follow the rules below, anyone can join us, regardless of experience level.
Cost: $10 per session (please e-transfer finance@enfieldrfc.ca, though cash will be accepted)
Location: East Hants Sportsplex
When: A random smattering of dates for now, as we gauge levels of interest. Friday night sessions start at 9:30pm, to keep you out of trouble, and Sunday night sessions start at 7:30pm. Keep an eye on our social media/website for updates. Why not subscribe to our Google Calendar while you're at it?
We will be adding additional dates and maybe some fun events throughout the winter.
Registration: All participants must be registered with Rugby Canada to participate (if you were registered for the 2021 regular season, you are already covered until April 2022). If you need to register, please follow the instructions on our Club Registration page. You will to select "2021 Rugby Nova Scotia - Senior (Contact)." This will cover you until the end of April 2022 and only costs $100. Again, this is a mandatory requirement to participate!
If you plan on attending indoor sessions, a COVID-10 attestation must be completed on the day of the session. In order to receive this attestation, please complete this form.
We will be following all mandatory Provincial COVID-19 Health and Safety restrictions, including proof of double vaccination.
As stipulated by Government of Nova Scotia Proof of Vaccine mandate for Phase 5, the East Hants Sportsplex and Enfield Rugby Football Club will require everyone (players, coaching staff, spectators) entering the facility to provide Proof of Vaccination (POV).

With Phase 5 cautiously opening the following are the updated changes to the Sportsplex:
- masks are still required while inside the facility except when participating on the field of
play.
- Physical distancing is no longer required, allowing spectator limits to revert to normal
occupancy limits.
