Hello members of Enfield RFC!
We have set a date for our Annual General Meeting.
It will be held on Friday, February 21st 7:00pm at the East Hants Sportsplex. The meeting will take place in the Todd Hunter room. (The room upstairs beside the canteen).
2019 was a very successful year for our club! We will have lots to discuss as we review the past year and make new plans for the 2020 season. We definitely encourage everyone to attend to ensure every member of the club is given a chance to weigh in on any important discussions and ideas!
If you are interested in running for a position on the board - please let me know! Below are very brief descriptions of each position.
President: Represents the club as a whole
Internal Relations: Organizing club members for events and internal communications. Major role in mini rugby program.
Finance: Overseeing the general finances of the club Men's VP: Essentially general manager of the Men's teams; responsible for member registration, dues, signing up for tournaments, as well as representing the Men's side in an official capacity. Women's VP: Generally the same as Men's VP, but for the Women's side Fixtures: Responsible for submitting game sheets to Rugby NS after games as well as resolving any scheduling conflicts. In charge of most booking of facilities. External Relations: Communications outside of the club, be it social media, sponsorships, and any dialogue with other clubs or community members. Member at Large: May have various responsibilities and projects – short or long-term – during their time on the board. As usual, we will be forming our 2020 committees at our AGM. Please give thought to what committee you would like to join!
