Girls 10-7(win) vs Northumberland
Players of the Match: Rebecca Molonar and Lydia Goodhew
Despite the rain and wind the girls came out with their second win against Northumberland this season (first game 37-0). "We improved a lot on our tackling and really focused on hitting low and making sure they didn't get past our wall" Jacy, a senoir player on the women's team explained. Along with stepping up on defence the women's team was able to shut down their opposition any chance they could. Tasha MacKnezie, the Tigers' inside center, scored the first try of the game after breaking throught Northumberlands line and making a run to the try zone.
Boys 10-5 (loss) vs Northumberland
Player of the Match: Jesse Miles
A tough loss for the boys against Northumberland. Although the weather got the best of them, the team managed to make some great plays making it their best game of the season yet. The team showed quality handling despite the slippery ball and played hard until the final whistle, in the end giving Jesse Miles the only try for the boys that game.
